I had actually planned this post before Etta James passed away. Today would have been her 74th birthday, and I have enjoyed her music as long as I can remember. I knew her song “At Last” long before I knew who she was, as it was on the Northern Exposure soundtrack (one of my all-time favorite soundtracks, by the way).
